Owner Comments:  My name is Cliff Darby, and I own a 1980 Chevy C10 Custom Deluxe stepside.  My dad gave it the name "Ol' Red" and so that's what everyone around here calls it.  It is currently powered by the original 305 V8, but for graduation I am getting a crate 350 from SDPC..and I will be buying a new TH350 to go along with it.  My dad bought the truck new in 1980 and he is the only owner.  I've done lots to it, but the notable things are new door panels, a Pioneer CD player and two 6x9s, tinted windows, Eagle series 054 15x8 wheels on 255/70/R15 tires.  I lucked out and found a brand-new factory chrome grille still at the dealership.  I am ordering a 4-way Pioneer amp and a 2nd set of 6x9s.  I plan on finishing the body work (it basically needs an entire new bed) and it will be painted GM Color 'Dark Green Metallic' as seen on new trucks.  Chrome bumpers and a new interior are also down the line.  I'm 18 and I graduate high school in May '06.  I worked for 6 months in the "real world" but for now I am doing weekend landscaping with a buddy of mine in order to pay for gas and to save for everything my truck needs.
