Owner Comments:  Hi. My name is Lawrence Tolman from Waldoboro Maine, I am 18 years old, and this is my pride and joy...my 1976 Chevrolet C10 2wd shortbed.  I have replaced the fenders, doors, hood, all of the bed, welded in rockers and cab corners, and changed the engine and transmission several times.  The current engine is a 250 straight six with a 700r4, but the engine that I really liked in it was a 472 caddy from a 1970 Deville with a TH400.  The reason that it isn't in there now is because I was messing around burning the tires and crashed into a cemetery...whoops!  After that incident my mom decided that 375hp and 525tq was too much for me and that if I wanted to drive it in the road, I would have to install a smaller engine. Oh well.  I painted the truck myself, three days before I graduated from high school. I have owned the truck since I was 12 years old, it was purchased for $300 from a guy down the road and have been working on it ever since.  Happy Times.
