Owner Comments:
My name is Tom Obert, I live in Columbus Ohio, and I have had this truck since
1997. When I got it, it had a 6.2 diesel, 4 speed, and loads of
torque...but I hated the smell. Around 1999, my then eight year old son
and I transplanted a new 350 gasoline engine into it. I wheeled it for a
long time, thereby tearing up was was a pretty straight truck. I quit
wheeling it around 2004 and began to restore it. Exterior wise, I already
had the 1991 Blazer front clip on it, but I had to put two new bedsides on, new
inner and outer rockers, doors off a 1991 Suburban (PW/PL), new inner fenders
all the way around, one new front fender and a new cowl hood. I also
installed the lift kit, new 16.5" Eagle wheels mounted on 35" BFGoodrich tires.
I also installed a cloth seat, carpet and overhead Shelf It console.
Future plans call for TBI, 700r4 transmission and A/C. Thanks for looking!
